The meadow is open and very bright with a pleasant breeze teasing good-naturedly at your skin. The smell, faint but distinct, is of growing things and green life. The grass beneath your feet is lush and and reaches up to about your knees. It is a strange pale pastel color, almost as if faded by continued rain. It is by no means worn or old, though, but vibrantly alive.
As you move out you begin to hear the sound of crunching, much as if someone or something is taking advantage of the vast green to have a meal of it. By moving closer your are able to see the body of some equine whose head is far down among the grassy roots, consuming the good grass. For a moment you stand steal, fearing to frighten it since you've caught it quite unawares. Your stillness is in vain, however, because there is quite suddenly a halt in the chomping and two heads pop up to regard you with bright intelligent eyes.

The two heads, thankfully, belong to two different creatures. (You're not sure what you would have done with a two-headed horse.) They both seem to be equines of some sort but with highly unnatural colorings. The gray is natural enough, you suppose, but the blue markings are not. The horns are especially not uniform for all horses and you realize that you have come across two unicorns sharing a companionable breakfast in the meadow. Two pairs of eyes stare, seemingly quite unalarmed, and then both swallow their mouthfuls of grass in one concerted motion.
You remain silent, caught in the spell that overcomes all who are afraid of frightening a beautiful and wondrous creature away. The taller and bluer of the two snorts, taps a foot delicately, and then wanders off, perhaps to eat her breakfast without your staring eyes. The other follows quietly with the faint clop of her hooves only barely audible. You watch them until their backs have disappeared into the waving grass and then move on in
another direction.
